The company describes itself as specialist bridge and infrastructure architects and have been working with National Highways and the railway sector since 2009 in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Knight’s worked in collaboration with Eadon Consulting and Danish company COWI in the design of the Water Street Bridge in Canary Wharf which opened in 2020.

The company was incorporated in November 2005 and was founded by architect Martin Charles James Knight RIBA with Catherine Victoria Knight shown as company secretary. They were both still directors in 2024.

In 2024 the company had around 50 employees.
